Mariah Carey premiered her much anticipated new single, "Triumphant (Get Em)," featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill, this afternoon (August 2).

While on a conference call with reporters, bloggers and DJs, the legendary performer started out singing the praises of her song's co-stars Meek and Rozay.

"It was a great experience,' she said about teaming with two of Maybach Music Group’s made men. "To me, working with Ross and Meek is incredible. Obviously Ross is a huge star and everybody loves him. I'm a fan of his music. I really wanted to work with him. I love his voice. I felt the contrast between his and my voice was really going to be something special.  Just working with him in general was great.

"To work with Meek was also great," she added. "He adds an excitement and like a newness to the record that's pretty rare right now. That was important to us.  I'm happy I got both of them on one record. Its a big deal to me."

Mariah's single officially goes on sale to iTunes on Tuesday, (August 7). Jermaine Dupri produced the song.

"They told me ‘get em' I got em," Meek raps to open the record. "I swear that's word to my father. And the only way to make it to the top, is if you grind from the bottom."

"Red bottom Bawse house big as Baltimore," Ross raps later on the track. "With a blonde bombshell trying to bond with your boy."

Carey didn't give a definitive album title or release date, but she did reveal more cameos are coming.

"I'm collaborating with a lot of my favorite people," she said. "I don't want to get into any detail, but

I'm not trying to follow any particular trend. I wanted to stay true to what I love and make the fans happy."—Shaheem Reid (@ShaheemReid)
