Diddy, Ludacris, Pitbull and now Timbaland too.

The Grammy Award-winning producer has joined the aforementioned rappers in pushing his own spirit with the launch of a new sparkling liqueur called LeSutra, as reported by AllHipHop.com.

With its name inspired by the Kama Sutra, LeSutra, the ultra-premium brand liqueur will come in four different flavors—blueberry, strawberry, grape and peach—and be available in the East Coast this summer, before expanding nationwide in 2013.

“Everything that I create is groundbreaking and LeSUTRA is no different,” Timbaland, a co-owner and LeSutra partner, told AHH. “With its innovative ingredients and design, I’m confident that we’ll gain a loyal and eclectic consumer base. My infectious style has helped produce career-defining hits for artists worldwide, and now I’m guaranteeing another hit with LeSutra.”

Making the liqueur more viable is the fact that Timbo is working with Tom Bruno, the co-founder of Grey Goose vodka.

“With all my years in the wine and spirits industry, I have come across many fledging brands,” Bruno said. “It is really rare to find a brand with so much potential and unique craftsmanship. From the recipe formula and luxury packaging to the marketing presence and overall impact of a partner like Timbaland, we have a champion in LeSutra.”

A 750mL bottle of LeSutra will be priced at $29.99, while a 375mL bottle runs $19.99.

Timbaland joins the rap likes of Diddy (Ciroc Ultra-Premium Vodka), Luda (Conjure cognac) and Pitbull (Voli Light Vodka), who are all pitching spirits.
