Well, that was fast.

New York City’s W.i.P. nightclub—the home of the infamous Drake and Chris Brown bottle-throwing melee on June 14—has its liquor license back and plans on reopening its doors tonight (July 10), according to the New York Daily News.

Less than two weeks after the New York State Liquor Authority suspended the sale of alcohol at the club, a Manhattan Supreme Court justice ruled on W.i.P having its license restored Monday (July 9).

“When we reopen our doors, we will be focused on providing a safe and fun atmosphere for  our customers,” a spokesperson for W.i.P wrote in a statement to the NY Daily News. “To that end, we are enhancing our security.”

Security seemingly didn’t move fast enough on the early morning of June 14, when the entourages of Brown and Drake ensued in an all-out brawl, which left several injured, including Breezy himself, his bodyguard Big Pat, NBA star Tony Parker and three female club patrons. The latter four all announced plans to sue, including Parker's reported $20 million lawsuit against the nightclub.

Just when the incident seemed to simmer down in media attention, Brown re-ignited the flame by dissing Drizzy on a freestyle over Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like,” which had the R&B star saying: “A fuck ni–a that’s that shit I don’t like,” C. Breezy spits. “They throwing bottles, I’m throwing models, just cause I gave a bitch long pipe.”

Later, on the same track, Brown puts down Drake, but salutes Drizzy’s Young Money boss Lil Wayne and labelmate, Nicki Minaj.

“I be doing shows in soccer stadiums so that’s dome right?,” Brown continues spitting on the track, which was released on June 30. “I be singing, he be singing, so its on sight/But hold up, I ain’t give a nigga no green light/This head up my bread up, one on one what you scared bruh?/Matter fact take care, bruh/You a pussy nigga…My nigga Tunechi, yeah that nigga nice/Shout out to Nicki, man that ass tight…Them eye brows, man them shits is yikes/OVO, you overdose screaming ‘Y.O.L.O.,’ no I lived twice.”—Jakinder Singh
