Nicki came into the game on some lesbian ish…. Oh…. and once she got her shine (i.e. her contract) the exploitation of what “men think is hot” and “lesbian exploitation” was toned down. I guess she couldn’t stand in front of her fans in Jamaica and spit that stuff because she knows what Jamaicans feel about homosexuality on that island….

And lastly…..

Peter Rosenberg has a right to have his opinion about hip-hop. Did he choose the right venue? Hell naaah. But doesn’t he get paid for that? He talks on the radio. And don’t all DJs get paid for basically dictating what is hot and what is garbage (at least it was like that back in the day before program directors got mobbed up)?

And a second point…. Didn’t Nicki go in on Lil Kim on tv and radio when the subject wasn’t even about Lil Kim? Sounds to me like you can’t kiss the media monster without getting bitten.

Bottom line, both parties were a little out of line. But Lil Wayne took the chump position that most men have taken against women during all of history. He tried to fight Nicki’s battle for her and in the process told a huge lie and further sh*t on women by trying to insult their intelligence. And Nicki (clearly unaware of what the insult was) played herself by showing her lack of intelligence in the matter. But what do you expect when someone puts her ego before the thousands of fans that supported her?

Weezy, Nicki, and Peter…. Go sit in a corner!
