Chris Brown spoke to the New York Police Department with legal counsel by his side late Thursday (June 14), an NYPD source confirmed to XXLMag.com.

Brown was giving his account of Wednesday night’s (June 13) club brawl with his entourage and the entourages of Drake and Meek Mill at NYC nightclub WIP.

Drake is expected to schedule an interview with the NYPD as well, a police source told XXL, but no word on Meek Mill just yet.

The latest report of the melee had multiple witnesses telling TMZ that Drake flashed the middle finger and did some major thrash talking to Brown’s camp to ignite the fight, which left Breezy with a nasty gash on his chin and seven others treated with minor injuries (gashes, cuts and injuries).

“Within a few moments of noticing glass being thrown around, I saw a glass bottle headed towards me; consequently hitting me in the head,” said Hollie, a 24-year-old Australian tourist to TMZ. “I immediately started to bleed and proceeded to fall in and out of consciousness. [After she left the hospital] I had to take the subway home with no money or jacket. Nobody would even sit beside me. My friends were so scared because they did not know where I was.”

Video footage from the incident shows the full melee with two men trading punches in clear sight.

A previous witness account had Meek hitting Brown with a bottle, but the two artists said that they're cool with each other during a Twitter exchange yesterday (June 14).

Brown, Drake and Meek Mill engaged in a Twitter war over Rihanna late last month. Rihanna was Brown’s ex-girlfriend and long rumored to have on and off relations with Drizzy; most recently the song siren was rumored to have a fling with Meek.
