25 Best Hip-Hop Moments On The Arsenio Hall Show

Back in the days at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood, a late-night TV talk show was made under the guidance of comedian Arsenio Hall (best known for his multiple roles in Coming to America). The syndicated program, premiered during the winter of 1989, lasted until the spring of 1994, leaving a legacy as the talk show that touched upon the MTV generation. For hip-hop, it served as a tremendous platform, as it featured some of the genre's most prominent figures. Artists such as Ice-T, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J, Wu-Tang Clan, and many more have appeared on the program as guests or performers, making the show a significant title within hip-hop. Nearly 20 years since its cancellation, it's been recently announced that CBS will revive the show in September 2013 with Arsenio Hall back in charge. To celebrate its return, here's a breakdown of the 25 best hip-hop moments on The Arsenio Hall Show. —XXL Staff (@XXL)
