Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller announced today (April 17) that they are joining forces this summer for the Under The Influence of Music Tour. Along with special guests Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolBoy Q and Chevy Woods, the fellow Rostrum Records MCs will kick off the tour July 26 in Cincinnati.

The tour will bring together two of the most loyal fan bases in hip-hop, putting Mac’s Most Dope followers side-by-side with Wiz’s Taylor Gang. The Pittsburgh MCs (Mac and Wiz both attended Taylor Allerdice High School) will return to their hometown on August 4 at First Niagra Pavilion.

Neither MC is a stranger to the road. Wiz has performed over 350 shows since the beginning of 2010, including headlining last summer’s 45-stop Rolling Papers tour. Miller is not far behind, with 200 shows in 2011 alone including The Incredibly Dope Tour and stops at multiple festivals and universities. Miller is currently wrapping up the first leg of his Macadelic tour.

Special guests Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Chevy Woods aren't new the stage either. Chevy rode shotgun for Wiz’s Taylor Gang Tour earlier this year and Kendrick and Schoolboy both shutdown SXSW earlier this month with memorable performances.

Tickets go on sale to the public at 4:20 pm on April 20 on Ticketmaster.com and Livenation.com. Starting this Thursday (April 19) Facebook fans can RSVP to gain access to re-sale tickets at www.facebook.com/livenation . Citi cardmembers can buy presale tickets starting today at 10 am local time. —Calvin Stovall (@CalvinStovall)
