There’s no beef between Waka Flocka and Wiz Khalifa. The Brick Squad rapper made that clear during an appearance on New York City’s Hot 97 radio station Tuesday (April 24).

“That’s deaded,” Waka said. “I voiced my opinion because it’s true and it’s facts.”

Waka was referring to last December’s statement he made about Wiz on Shade 45, saying the marijuana-loving MC had no swag and was all hype.

But yesterday, Waka seemed done with that.

“That’s a nice guy, he make good music,” Waka added about Wiz. “I got cousins that like his music. We two nice guys with good music. Amen. Church.”

That said, Waka shot down Hot 97 host Angie Martinez’ idea about him and Wiz talking and chillin’ at some point.

“Negative. Negative. Negative,” Waka said bluntly.

In a separate recent appearance on NYC’s Power 105 dial, Wiz too seemed unfazed by any static with Waka, even adding that he’d happily send him some Mary Jane.

“I asked some people around him just to see what the deal really was ’cause I’m from Pittsburgh people really got a problem, they gotta problem,” Wiz said.

Though there might be nothing left of the situation, both artists should have a big hand in trying to make this summer hot for hip-hop.

Waka’s Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family album is scheduled for a June 12 release, featuring records like “Round of Applause” with Drake and “I Don’t Really Care,” which includes an assist from crooner Trey Songz. Meanwhile, Wiz’s O.N.I.F.C., an acronym for Only Nigga In First Class, is scheduled for an August 28 release.—Jakinder Singh
