Cam’ron, the acclaimed Harlem MC, announced through his social networking accounts Twitter and Instagram last night (April 15) on plans to release a batch of new materials for the next 30 days, excluding the weekends.

“IMA RELEASE #UNLOSTFILES 2MR NEW SONG EVERY DAY FOR 30 DAYS. (EXCEPT DA WEEKENDS) LOL” the Diplomat’s poster child noted via Instagram.

The 36-year-old Grammy-nominated rapper, whose latest solo effort, Crime Pays, was released in 2009, has been active lately alongside fellow Harlem cohort Vado, under a group project known as the U.N. Whether or not the upcoming materials are strictly solo tracks of Cam’ron or they’ll feature Vado remains to be seen.

Earlier this year, Cam collaborated with Pittsburgh MC, Mac Miller, for a track titled “Dig That,” which generated talks of a possible full-length album from the two rappers.

Along with the supposed comeback effort with The Diplomats, Cam’ron’s upcoming solo album, More Gunz, Less Buttah, has not received a set release date (neither did the sequel for Cam’s directorial debut, Killa Season). —Jaeki Cho (@JaekiCho)
