Meet XXL's 2012 Freshman Class (XXL April 2012 Issue)

The 2012 XXL Freshman Class introduced the revered fan-voted 10th spot, where fans of made their vote count by choosing who they wanted to earn a spot on the cover. On top of that, the 2012 pick was the first female rap artist to ever make the list.

Iggy Azalea sat alongside Future, Hopsin, Kid Ink, French Montana, Macklemore, Danny Brown, Roscoe Dash, Machine Gun Kelly and Kid Ink for this breakout group of rappers, and all of them have continued to prosper on levels many can only dream of since they graced the cover.
