Young Jeezy has announced that his next project will be the CTE compilation album, It’s the World. The rapper is coming off the December release of his fourth solo album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition, and has just embarked on his Hustlerz Ambition tour in support of the LP. Before a recent tour stop in Hartford, Connecticut, Jeezy talked with Jenny Boom Boom of Hot 93.7 about It’s the World.

It’s The World, it’s basically I’m just bringing my crew to the forefront,” Jeezy said. “It’s been a long time coming, CTE World. I’m proud to announce that. The music is incredible…It’s gonna be a CTE World summer.”

After announcing the CTE compilation album, Jeezy mentioned how it has been a short celebration since dropping his TM: 103 album.

“I popped a few bottles of champagne but then it was right back to work, the day that TM: 103 came out, me and Gibbs was in the studio that same night starting on It’s The World,” said the Atlanta rapper.

Last year, Jeezy brought former XXL Freshman Freddie Gibbs into the CTE family.

TM: 103 is nearing gold certification status with 493,200 copies sold to date. In support of the album, Jeezy recently released a trailer for the music video for his single “Leave You Alone” featuring Ne-Yo. He plans on dropping the video next week, calling it “one of the best videos that I have ever been a part of.”—Nicholas Sella
