After confirming the partnership to XXLMag.com just last year, Waka Flocka Flame now tells XXL that he never had an official deal with Suge Knight.

“I ain’t sign no partnership with Suge Knight ever in my life," the Bricksquad Monopoly general said. “Suge to me, he was just an OG in the game. If a guy go [and] express his feelings towards me and tell me what he like of me or the mistakes he made so I don’t make the mistakes, why not listen to him? You feel what I’m saying?”

"Just because you talk, holla at a person or eat a burger with a person, hang with a person for a day, don’t mean they handling all of your business," he continued. "They scared of that shit, though, so they gonna throw it in the media. They don’t want it with a nigga like Suge."

This comes after the rapper told XXLMag.com last year that the Death Row Records co-founder would be helping him oversee his Brick Squad Monopoly company, which, according to the rapper, is garnering a lot of interest from label execs.

“I got a lot of offers. A lot of big names trying to sign my company,” he disclosed after speaking on his situation with Suge.

Waka is currently prepping the release of his sophomore album titled, Triple F Life: Friends, Fans, and Family which is set to hit stores June 12th. Stay tuned for XXLMag.com’s XXcLusive interview with the rapper where touches on partnering with PETA, working on Triple F Life, and just what he thinks of French Montana's famous bear hoody.—Ralph Bristout
