Tyler, the Creator is remorseful for trashing a bunch of sound equipment at a Hollywood nightclub back in December and he's demonstrating his regret by paying about $8,000 to cover the damages, reports TMZ.

As previously reported on XXLMag.com, Tyler was arrested in Hollywood on December 22 after destroying some sound equipment inside the world-famous Roxy on Sunset Blvd after performing there. Cops were called by Roxy staff around 11:30 PM that night and Tyler was reportedly taken into custody in front of his mother, who was visibly upset as she yelled at cops.

Tyler was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and was taken to a nearby station to be booked, causing fans to take to the streets to protest Tyler's arrest. The videos below show Tyler kicking equipment and yelling at the sound man and then acting erratic with the cops while getting arrested.

Not only has the Odd Future frontman paid up, he's also scheduled to have a meeting with a hearing officer for the District Attorney, according to TMZ, who will recommend Tyler pay for the investigation costs incurred by the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department. If Tyler agrees, the entertainment site reports the DA will not file any criminal charges against him. —Mariel Concepcion @Mceezy
