Saigon isn't looking to slow things down one bit.

Following the release of his oft-delayed The Greatest Story Never Told album last year, Sai Giddy is currently readying his debut's follow-up with Bread and Circuses. Revealed through his Twitter account, Sai announced the title of his upcoming sophomore project as well as its release date: September 11th.

"Let's try that again...Sept 11th 2012 I will be releasing my Sophomore album Bread And Circuses... Please please support the TRUE shit," tweeted the rapper after initially announcing that the album would be arriving later this year.

The album title reflects Sai's knack of pointing out the struggle and injustices that occur within inner-city communities.

"The meaning of the title is a metaphor for how they control the population with not good public service but through diversion," Sai wrote. "Bread and Circuses. Food and Entertainment is how they control the masses. Count how many food commercials come on during a t.v. 'program'. It's a old Roman formula [on] how to make the population fall in line... Yall should read up on it...."

The album comes after the rapper released his third installment in the fan-favorite Warning Shots mixtape series as well as his debut effort, The Greatest Story Never Told which released early last year after numerous push-backs.
