While everyone in NYC was out basking in the limelight of the New York Giants' Super Bowl victory, another celebratory event was taking place inside Midtown's Gramercy Theatre. Last night (February 7), the legendary Bone Thugs-N-Harmony took their talents—and tour stop— to the Big Apple, gracing fans with a special concert commemorating their 20 year hip-hop run.

Although the show was billed as "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony," only two members—Krayzie and Wish Bone —were scheduled performers. Still, the absence of the others didn't seem to put a damper on things (sort of) as the two managed to pull off a hell of a show.

Equipped with an arsenal of classic joints, the boys kicked things off with the menacing "Mo Murda" which sent the crowd to pandemonium. Filled with nothing but long-time Bone Thugs fans—clad in signature "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony" gear—excitement seemingly cloaked the night's atmosphere.

"We done been [in NYC] a few times, so we gon do some real old gutter shit for yall," bellowed Wish Bone to the packed house.

"Fuck 'em, let the law end/'Cause we simply get the raw end/"Coffins open, dump 'em all in," crooned Krayzie as their rebellious "Let the Law End" blasted through speakers. Digging into their crates of signature fan-favorites, the duo went on to deliver tracks like "Body Rott," "Look Into My Eyes," "Family Tree," "Days Of Our Lives," "1st of tha Month," and more.

In response, everyone from those seated in VIP to the many crowded directly in front of the stage was on their feet rocking and reciting every track word- for-word.

"I wanna thank yall muthafuckas for coming out and supporting the movement for 20 years...it wouldn't be no Bone Thugs without yall," said Krayzie before paying homage to Eazy E ("We gotta pay homage to the nigga that put us on," he stated) with a rendition of the late rapper's classic track "Boyz N the Hood" as well as their collabo "Foe Tha Love of $." They also paid respects to The Notorious B.I.G. with a performance of "Notorious Thugs" and 2Pac with "Thug Luv."

Keeping everyone on the tip of their toes throughout the night, both Krayzie and Wish Bone undeniably held the NYC crowd at the palm of their hands before closing the set with the crew's Grammy Award-winning "Crossroads." A night of celebration indeed.—Ralph Bristout
