After Kanye West hinted via Twitter this week that he might be joining the team behind the 2012 film The Jetson, the movie's producer confirmed to MTV that talks with 'Ye have indeed taken place.

"Kanye's always been a Jetsons fan, I think because he's so into design and he loves the design aspects," Denise Di Novi said. "So we had a fun brainstorming conversation.

"He reached out and said he's a huge Jetsons fan," she continued. "There are a lot of Jetsons fanatics out there, especially people that are into either futuristic science or design. He was interested in creatively brainstorming what we were doing with the movie and what ideas he might have. It was a really friendly, preliminary conversation."

Still, it is still unclear whether Yeezy will jump on board or not, she adds. ""He was going to think about it more and see if he got inspired visually," she said. "He's a very visual artist."

Kanye's original tweet, which read, "I was just discussing becoming the creative director for the Jetson movie," was just one of a myriad of tweets he posted earlier in the week, which include posts about his new venture, DONDA, and his idea to open a summer school with movie director Spike Jonze that will focus on “new forms of curriculum.” —Gina Montana
