Jay-Z is becoming more responsible with his lyrics now that Blue Ivy Carter is here.

According to NME, the Brooklyn MC has vowed not to use the word "Bitch" anymore now that he's the proud parent of a baby girl —at least that's what he expressed via a poem he recently wrote.

In the poem, Hov writes, "Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.

"No man will degrade her, or call her name," he continues. "I'm so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. I wish you wealth, health and insight. Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel."

Blue Ivy is not only changing her father's views, she also changed Billboard stats, becoming the youngest person ever to be credited on a chart just last week, according to Billboard.com.

The daughter Jay-Z and Beyoncé birthed on Saturday (January 7) became the youngest person to receive credit for a charting song as her wailing cries appear on Jay’s recently-released track, “Glory.” Billed as “featuring B.I.C.,” the abbreviation of Blue’s full name, “Glory” entered the Jan. 21 R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 74, the highest new entry on the chart this week. —Mariel Concepcion (@mceezy)
