Young Jeezy and Rick Ross recently bumped into each other at the BET Hip Hop Awards and the two didn’t bother to exchange words or engage in any beef. According to Jeezy, that in itself tells him that, despite talk in the media and amongst fans, there’s nothing serious brewing between the two.

"I felt like it was about selling records," Jeezy told Sway on MTV RapFix Live this week. "It' not about you [or] about me. We could've stepped in the corner and chopped it up. So right then and there, I knew it was about records, so I was cool with it."

The Atlanta rapper added that he thinks Ross might have taken his words on “Death B4 Dishonor” to heart and as a direct response to Ross’ “B.M.F.”

"With rap, it's a funny thing,” Jeezy added. “You can say things, and people can take 'em the way they wanna take 'em. But in my mind, in my heart, I just killed the verse. If I killed the verse and you took it personally, then that's on you."

Talk of beef aside, Jeezy’s highly-anticipated TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition has been picking up steam thanks to the Andre 3000 and Jay-Z-assisted “I Do” as well as the “Talk To Me” track, which features Eminem and Freddie Gibbs. TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition is scheduled to hit stores December 20. –Jakinder Singh
