The Harajuku Barbie will finally become one.

Mattel has announced that it is in the process of creating a Nicki Minaj Barbie doll, equipped with her arm tattoo and everything, according to TMZ.

Nicki isn't the only animated artist to become a plastic doll; pop star Katy Perry apparently will become a Barbie as well.

The Nicki doll will be available on Dec. 7 and proceeds will benefit the Project Angel Food organization.

In related news, Nicki Minaj will be commemorated as the Rising Star of 2011 today (December 2) during Billboard Magazine's Women in Music luncheon taking place at New York's Capitale venue. Nicki will join Taylor Swift, the latter who has been named the 2011 Woman of the Year for the sixth annual event.

“I am deeply honored to be recognized by Billboard,” Minaj said in a statement. “My nation of Barbz and I have come a mighty long way; yet we are nowhere close to where God will take us. Sit back and enjoy the ride.”
