Kanye West tops all Grammy nominations with seven, but the Louis Vuitton Don still took the time during The Throne’s tour stop in his hometown of Chicago last night to address the committee’s snub on an Album Of The Year nod.

“Everyone came to me last night like, ‘Congratulations’ because I’m leading having the most Grammy nominations…like we always do at this time,” Kanye told an audience full of roaring fans. “But people are saying, ‘You didn’t have an Album Of The Year or Record Of The Year [nomination]. What I figured out, though, is that’s my fault for dropping Watch The Throne and Dark Fantasy the same year. I should have spaced it out just a little bit more. But don’t worry because me and Hov are gonna keep on making shit. It feels so good to be home!"

Sure enough, 'Ye dropped My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy in November 2010, before following up with Watch The Throne with Jay-Z in August 2011.
