Drake's Take Care is the No. 1 album in the country this week.

According to the Nielsen SoundScan report release this morning, the Toronto rapper's sophomore set sold 630,500 copies in his first week, falling just a few units short of the Hits Daily Double projections which anticipated the LP would move between 675 and 725K. Still, the number was enough to land him atop the Billboard 200 chart, knocking off Mac Miller's Blue Slide Park, which dropped from No. 1 to No. 24 it's second week with 25,200 sold the last seven days (169,700 copies total), from the top slot.

Just this week, Drizzy's labelhead Lil Wayne told MTV that he wasn't concerned with the projected sales. "As far as expectations, we don’t have those around here," he said. "Expectations are a weakness in the music business because if you expect anything, 10 times out of 10 it’s not gonna happen, so we don’t have expectations around here.”

“What we do expect is … to work very hard and we expect people to respect our hard work and our effort,” Weezy continued. “Now as far going to buy the album, as far as going to get 750,000 copies, that’s never a problem with us; that’s never important to us.”

Cash Money's Birdman also remarked on Drake's projections, saying, “I think Drake’s gonna be the one to break a lot of barriers with sales. It’s just his second album — I could see him doing a million-plus his first week in the future. It’s gonna be incredible, and we’re just gonna have to wait and see.”

Also entering the chart this week is Childish Gambino's Camp, which debuted at No. 11 with 52,100 sold, and Webbie's Savage Life 3, which sits at No. 17 after selling 30,100 copies. Wale's Ambition drops three spots from No. 15 to No 18, moving 29,300 this week for a total of 234,400. In it's 12th week on the 200 tally, Wayne's Tha Carter IV sold 25K this week to bring his total to 1.693 million, while Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne moved 19,100 on its 15th week on the 200 chart, for a total of 1,069,800.

Capping off the top 50, J. Cole's Cole World: The Sideline Story falls a few spots on it's eighth week, from No. 32 to No. 35. The set sold 18,310 this week bringing his total to 405,300.—Gina Montana
