With his Take Care album just 14 days away and a track list leak yesterday (October 31), Drake took to the airwaves of Los Angeles' Power 106 last night not only to clarify some details surrounding his upcoming album and tour, but also to debut a few musical nuggets.

Regarding the leaked tracklist, the Young Money rapper stated it was “a little off:” Kendrick Lamar will also be featured on the sophomore set. As previously reported, the album will also have guest appearances by Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, The Weeknd and Rick Ross.

And, after cancelling a few Club Paradise Tour dates originally set for this month, the OVO general explained he wanted to stay true to most of his fanbase: young students. Thus, instead of banking off stadium shows, he wants to make his tour more intimate, including doing many more college campuses along the way.  The tour will take over most of January and February.  Surf Club producer/rapper Chase N. Cashe, who was present with the Toronto native at the station, will open for the tour along with A$AP Rocky and Lamar.

A few world premieres and surprises were in store during the radio chat as well.  Chase N. Cashe’s new single, “I Wish I Was in Vegas,” made its debut. And, right before he released his latest track, the Lil Wayne-assisted “The Motto,” off Take Care, Drizzy premiered T.I.’s “Headlines” freestyle, welcoming the Atlanta, Georgia, rapper home and dubbing him one of his closest friends.

As if that weren't enough, Drake returned to Power 106 early this morning to announce that he would join the lineup for the Cali Christmas 2011 concert on December 16 at the Gibson Amphitheater, joining the likes of Big Sean, J. Cole, Audio Push, YG and Love Rance. Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Thursday (Nov. 4). —Rachelle Jean-Louis
