Lil B's Cooking Dance Spreads Through the NFL

stevie johnson cooking

Last season, it was The Dougie.

A trend quickly spread through the NFL. After touchdowns, players would break into hip-hop's latest unavoidable dance. And it wasn't just football. The first pick in the NBA Draft, John Wall, made a splash by doing The Dougie during his pre-game entrance (plus, there were non-athletes, like Wolf Blitzer and Michelle Obama, who indulged).

It looks like Lil B's cooking dance may be the latest move to start popping up with some regularity in the NFL. Though the 2011 XXL Freshman has been doing the move for some time, it looks to be picking up some momentum now (it has shown up three weeks in a row on the field at NFL games). Earlier this year, soccer player Joe Gyau led a few members of Team USA in some group cooking following a goal. Now, rolling into mid-season, a handful of players have already channeled their inner Based God for celebratory purposes. After Buffalo Bills wide receiver (and part-time rapper) Stevie Johnson stepped inside the kitchen after a touchdown yesterday, XXL decided to track the growing trend by taking a look back at the NFL's best cooking dances from the 2011 season so far. Expect this list to snowball.

Swag! Whoop!
