In the late 90's, early 2000 era hip-hop labels such as Death Row and Bad Boy were making a splash in the game as the cornerstone of authentic rap music. Later on Roc-A-Fella Records led by the reigning King of New York Jay-Z and fellow Def Jam label Murder Inc began to carve their own lane as well. Murder Inc. had their own share of success at one point being labeled as the ''Worlds Most Dangerous Record Label" headed by Queens MC, Ja Rule. Similar to Bad Boy, The Inc. would back up their claim as a "dangerous" label releasing a number of platinum hit records, a strategy instilled by the genius mind of CEO Irv Gotti. Ja Rule's success at the label would later be duplicated by R&B singers Ashanti and heartthrob, Lloyd. Following the rise of another Queens MC 50 Cent and his G-Unit movement, the Inc. fell to the bottom of the barrel while their nemesis skyrocketed as the next big MC.

After a few years of trials and tribulations, the Inc. dismantled with Ja Rule headed to jail and Ashanti and Lloyd departing ways with the once dominant label. Yesterday during RapFix Live Irv Gotti gave his perspective on his former artists and their current business dealings. While Gotti revealed that everything is all good with Ashanti, Irv expressed some unfortunate feelings towards Lloyd. According to Irv, he feels under appreciated by Lloyd and decided to let the public in on his thoughts. Hit the clip to hear Irv's side of the story.
