DJ Premier and Stretch Armstrong are just a couple of the DJs that will be rocking the ones and twos tonight in honor of the late turntablist great, Grand Master Roc Raida.

Raida, born Anthony Williams, was a member of the DJ collective the X-Ecutioners. He passed away on September 19 of 2009 due to complications from a MMA (mixed-martial-arts) accident. The legendary DJ won the 1995 DMC World DJ Championship, dropped seven solo albums, several more with with the X-Ecutioners and was Busta Rhymes’ DJ for live performances.

Besides Premier and Armstrong, many others are due to come by and pay tribute to Raida, including DJ Craze, A-Trak, the X-Ecutioners and DJ Eclipse, among others.

The show will be hosted by Shade 45 radio personality Lord Sear and will take place tonight at 8 p.m. in Brooklyn Bowl, as all proceeds go to Raida’s family. Tickets are priced at $25 a piece. Fans can purchase tickets now here. —Christopher Minaya
