Curren$y Signs Mikey Rocks To Jet Life Recordings

It’d be difficult to dispute the fact Curren$y is one of the hardest working MCs in the game—this year alone he’s released multiple projects including Covert Coup, Weekend at Burnie’s and the recent DJ Drama-hosted mixtape Verde Terrace—but in addition to his own work, the New Orleans native is steadily building his label Jet Life Recordings. Spitta’s latest signee to the imprint is The Cool Kids’ Mikey Rocks.

On Sunday night (October 23), via Twitter, Curren$y announced that Sir Michael Rocks has officially inked a deal with Jet Life Records. “Happy to have added one of my good friends to the J.L.R. family.... After I roll this doob I'll let yall kno all about it..” @Curren$y Spitta wrote. “Roll one for @SirMichaelRocks for he is indeed Jet Life Official…Pop a bottle for dat man.” Naturally, the announcement was tagged with a photo of Curren$y poppin’ a bottle of champagne in honor of his new signee. Read more...
