Petey Pablo will be spending the next three years behind bars after pleading guilty to possession of a stolen firearm.

According to the Associated Press, the “Raise Up” MC was sentenced to 35-months in a federal prison on Monday (September 26).

The North Carolina rapper was was arrested on September 11, 2010 at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport when security discovered a concealed weapon in his carry-on luggage. Pablo previously spent six years in jail for armed robbery in the 1990s.

As of press time it is uncertain when and where he will begin serving time for the offense. —Elan Mancini
