Ha I find this story funny as hell because I made a beat that sounded almost exactly the same (minus the percussion) about a year ago in Riverside, Ca and gave it to a gogo dancer/singer. My track has more of a soft rock feel. The guitar riff is a sample from reason 4.0 and probably other production programs. When I heard Weezy’s song I was like WTH… but soon realized there is millions of people who have access to these samples aswell…. I guess all i can say is great minds think alike.I keep it movin and make more slappers, next time I wont just give anything to anybody.. keep it 100 xxl…

at the end of the day, to these local artist say that they got the beat and recorded to it, the beat is not yours until you PAID for it which i assume they didnt do. wayne probably paid for it, therefore its his song
