Today, Sept. 8, is the birthday of Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa. Khalifa Man now turns 31.

The Rostrum Records signee was making major noise on the mixtape scene from 16 years old. In 2010, the tatted up rhymer scored a spot on the year's XXL Freshman List and released his breakthrough, critically-acclaimed mixtape Kush and Orange Juice. In that same year, the Taylor Gang general scored his first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 record with "Black and Yellow". Fast forward to today and Wiz has got six studio albums under his belt and has achieved complete crossover appeal thanks to moves like his joint tour with Fall Out Boy and one of the longest running No. 1 songs in the music history with "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth.

In 2017, Wiz has been inspiring the new generation of rappers by working with Buddy, Ugly God and more. Khalifa Man is also scheduled to drop a new album this year and has already dropped the first single "Something New." The following year, he delivered his latest album, Rolling Papers 2.

Happy Birthday, Wiz Khalifa!
