Let’s keep in mind that a lot of the posthumous releases, with the exception of The Seven Day Theory, were songs that he probably would have kept to himself. His albums that he released while still alive and able to add his artistic input and decide what songs were going to make the cut and which ones weren’t were all classics. I’m not even a huge fan of his music, but I appreciate his contribution to the culture.

Opinions are like assholes……everyone has one…….You say he put quantity over quality…..I say if this is true, then his “quantity” work is better than any rappers quality work of All Time!!!! remember this dude crafted the Makaveli album in 7 damn days!!!! and that’s a hip-hop classic and arguably the best Hip-Hop Album Of All-Time!!!!! And that’s not even his best album in my opinion!!!!! Time has nothing to do with quality…..and most of the after death releases by Pac are songs that he thought weren’t good enough to be put out….don’t blame Pac because other artists took twice the time he did to put out music…..that’s a damn skill homie

Pac did put in work but it was quantity over quality. That being said the large amount of trash he recorded is light years better than the best from Soulja Boy, Wacka, Lil B, etc. If Biggie and Pac were still alive would we ever have Gucci and Boosie and all that shit? On a final note I was waiting on Tity Boi to change his name for about 7 years. You’ve got to be dumb as hell to call yourself that and hope for success, not that 2Chainz is much better. He has no intelligence but he has stuck around for awhile now without ever releasing any notable music. Props for that.

First Nigga to say quality over quality in reference to Tupac is a bitch…. I think his legacy to rap is extreme work ethic, I don’t recall any rap artists having that sort of output especially at their peak, (from the time he bailed out to his death was a very shirt period of time ). this was before pro tools, instant recall, recording on lap tops and the ease and speed of hard disk based mixing and work flows.
