Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group continues to expand.

Yesterday (August 1), Rozay called into Atlanta's Hot 107.9 radio station to officially announce the signing of DJ Scream to MMG with distribution through Warner, a move that Scream is exceptional hyped about.

"It's a great feeling; I fit right in with the team and we all share a similar vision when it comes to our goals," DJ Scream tells XXL about the signing, adding that he looks "forward to big records, big mixtapes, big shows, a DJ Scream album, and a lot more power moves from the MMG Empire."

"This is one of the moves I'm most proud of," the Teflon Don said via the airwaves about signing his first disc jockey to his growing roster. "This is something I've never done, but something I'm excited about. Me watching Scream build his brand for the last few years, be a part of some of the dopest projects to come out of the South... I wanted to see the homie make a major debut. Put out an album on a worldwide scale and that's something we finna do. Imma support the homie on all of his endeavors."

After asking Atlanta listeners to support their hometown DJ and shouting out the rest of his MMG team, Ross also revealed that a DJ Scream/Ricky Rozay mixtape was "coming real soon" — more specifically "before [Ross' God Forgives, I Don't] album drops" in October.

"Everything is in the works but nothing is confirmed yet as far as dates," Scream adds. "Just stay tuned. We gonna make history. DJ Scream. Hoodrich! MMG!" —Mariel Concepcion
