i doubt he has that much money and if he does hes stupid for spending that much money. if you want to fly in a private plane why wouldnt you just rent one for the day? even if he planned to rent it out he would have to have it booked all year around and who would want to rent a private plane that has soulja boy shit all over it. he just handed his money back over to the man. XXL should confirm this type of stuff b/4 they print it. While this guy is very successful and I wish him continued success…if he spent this much on a plane he is a idiot. Remember MC Hammer buying that $33 million home and back then he was one of the top selling artists in the world and the price points where higher and the music industry still had control of distribution. Do I belive he rents private plans on the regular…but buying a plane of this amount and size is another level. To be able to afford the upkeep of a plane/yacht…many people do not realize. The guy above explained it very well. It costs $50k for fuel to fly a plane of any size from NYC to LA …one way! I think it would have been much more inspiring if it was reported that Soulja Boy invests in stocks or got in the venture capital business or anything else…This guy aint Puffy or JayZ…they can afford such a purchase…he cannot.

the real question is…

if this is true, will he have to bread to upkeep the plane? Insurance (for the plane and passengers just in case), fuel, staff costs (pilots are not cheap labor), luxury taxes, hangar rental costs, FAA protocol (mechanics will have to be on deck)…he’s already being severely upcharged for the modifying…
