Off top, the beat is real dope. I like the crashes and build ups rite before the hooks/8 bar change ups. The hook is dope, but I think it would've hit harder if a singer or someone with some harmonies sung it. But the melody of it and the actual penning of the hook is dope. Lyrically I dig it. It's not super above and beyond, but it tells the story real good, and it's definitely not simplistic, which is good. It's a little Drake-ish, and flow wise it could be a little more natural. Sounds like he may have just written it and is still going over it to find the pockets. Overall it's a pretty good joint though.

The beat is crazy! It reminds me of a Hi-Tek beat tape. As far as the bars, he's definitely got the showings of a good pen game on the rise, dope content/substance, but the flow was a little "too on." A dope flow is all about the pockets and finding your specific groove in them, as opposed to being exactly on the 2 and 4 counts. I'm big on voices, and his voice is real dope, so thats a plus. Overall it's a dope joint, and you can tell he's in the right direction. A little more time in the gym and he'll be money from behind the arc.

The video is "different," but in 2011, different wins, so I understand the idea. The beat is real dope. Reading his bio, it's sounds just like I thought it would, based off of his list of influences. Pen wise, I really dig how he wrote the song. The actual structure and formatting of the record, as well as the actual bars. I like this one a lot. I'd even be willing to throw 16 on a remix if Ryshon wanted. Holla on the Twitter if need be. But yeah, DOPE joint.

Nikki Lynette

I really dig this. The rock influence is obviously way different from all of the other stuff on here, which could be received good or bad. Luckily for Nikki, its great. She's a beast. The fact that she's able to find those pockets in the beat and slide through perfectly from an emcee standpoint, and then make such a "straight rock" hook, and it all makes sense together? She's definitely FTW. Her pen game is silly too. She can rap for real. I hadn't heard any of her music before, but I'm officially Googling her asap. #dopeness
