XXL's July/August 2011 cover boy, Lil Wayne, recently announced the July 13 release of his mixtape, Sorry For the Wait. But fans didn't have to wait long for the project's first track. Over the weekend, Weezy leaked "Tunechi's Back," which samples the popular Meek Mill and Rick Ross single, "Tupac Back." [Listen here]

On the song he raps: “Out on bail/Work on a scale / Put some change on your head/ Boy, you on sale / Yeah I’ll see you in hell / Pop-pop get well / Make breakfast ’cause I got you walking on egg shells/Swear to God I’d never shoot unless I’m shooting to kill / Instead of writing raps you should be writing your will.”

The mixtape comes just weeks before the oft-delayed Tha Carter IV album, which is now scheduled for an August 29 date.—Gina Montana
