Drake Hopes to Work With DJ Premier on Take Care

Drake's sophomore album, Take Care, due October 24, is one of the most-anticipated albums of the year. Now, thanks to a Rolling Stone report, we know what some of the tracks sound like, who some of the guest spots are so far and who Drizzy looks forward to tapping to appear on the album.

According to the site, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne are two of the collaborators on the set as of now, but the Toronto rapper, who is currently putting the finishing touches on the LP, is hoping R&B crooner The Weeknd, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, the xx's Jamie Smith and veteran producer DJ Premier make guest appearances as well.

Tracks slated to appear on the album include the boastful "Shot for Me," produced by longtime partner Noah "40" Shebib, which will most likely be the album opener; "Free Spirit" featuring Ross ("Tat my name on you so I know it's real," Drake raps); and the love song "The Real Her,"alongside label head Weezy.

"With this album, I want to tell a whole story," Drake says about his goal for Take Care. "I don't want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that."

So far the only song that Drizzy has released from the project has been the R&B-tinged cut, "Marvin's Room." No word yet on when his next offering will drop. —Mariel Concepcion
