Today’s (May 11) Nielsen SoundScan report has the Beastie Boys back on top as they debut on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart with their latest release, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.

Holding down the No. 2 spot, in it’s debut week, the hip-hop trio sold 127,800 units with their eighth studio album.

Slipping from the No. 9 spot to No. 25 is Wiz Khalifa. In his sixth week, the 2010 XXL Freshman's Atlantic Records debut, Rolling Papers, picked up 19,400 more in sales. Overall the LP’s stats stand at 371,100.

Following the Pittsburgh spitter, Nicki Minaj is the next and last hip-hop act to appear in the Top 40. Dropping 10 spots this week and landing at No. 28, Pink Friday sold 14,200 units this week making for 1,356,370 in sales total.

Failing to make the Top 200 is Kansas City rapper Big Scoob. Yet The Strange Music MC's new disc Damn Fool! did manage to sell  2,050 units. Next week, look for Tyler, The Creator to make an appearance on the charts with his album, Goblin. —Nicole LoPresti
