Xzibit Plans New Album, TV Show

After being out of the limelight in recent months, rapper and actor Xzibit is looking to reassert himself back into the glare of the entertainment industry.

Speaking earlier this week via Twitter, he said he would be releasing a new album in the summer. He’s also promoting his music production catalog, Urban Ammo, by releasing the tracks “Man on The Moon” and “What It Is” immediately through iTunes.

Also tapping into his acting side, Xzibit will appear on the Fox medical drama "Weekends at Bellevue" in the fall, which centers on the lives of doctors at a hospital's psychiatry emergency room. – Khalid Salaam
