It was the REST of D12 that went at Royce. Em did have issues with Royce, but never publicly addressed them. Matter of fact, he completely stayed out of it for the most part. D12 are the ones that spoke. Proof IS the reason they made up. Matter of fact, straight from the horses mouth, Royce said the day Proof was killed Swifty from D12 was the first to call Royce to squash the beef and the rest of D12 followed.

Plus, for the record, Detroit has BEEN on the map for quite some time. When Eminem and to a lesser extent, Kid Rock, popped off, Em opened the door for D12, then brought Obie through, then Trick Trick and he even tried setting Hush up, but Hush’s ego brought him down before he got launched. Kid Rock opened the door up for a few local acts as well. Detroit BEEN on the map, just that the rest of the country never wanted to acknowledge it.

As a result, artist did the mixtape thing (basically bootleggin their own music). Mixtapes tured to EPs. Hopefully EPs will sell then the full length album will be back.
