E-40 holds the crown when it comes to creating hip-hop slang. The Bay Area native, who’s held down the rap game for nearly two decades, has been dropping gems on his fans since day 1. Po-Po
"There are definitely phrases that people should be familiar with. Shit, just the word when you see the police. Po-Po. There go the police. There go the Po-Po. That was one of the popular words I said in1992 on an album called Federal. It was independent so it sold like 185,000 copies. You understand me? So, the Po-Po."

Captain Save a Hoe
"One of the main ones y'all got to be familiar with is Captain Save a Hoe. Everyone says it. Every rapper says it. 'Oh you saving that hoe?' It all comes from "Captain Save a Hoe." That came from an underground record that I had that sold. I can say total, 185,000 copies independently. Then, after I put it out on Jive a year later, in 1993 on a major label, it sold more and that was on Soundscan. I coined Captain Save a Hoe."

It's All Good and You Feel Me
"With these two, I coined them but it's actually Bay Area words where I live and never moved out of. I didn't move outta The Bay. I don't lived under a rock. We are the most creative people in the industry. We brought a lot to hip-hop overall. I could go on and on forever. But yeah we say these two phrases often and sometimes together. It's all good, you feel me?"
