For the second year in a row, Ludacris and Magnum condoms are teaming up for a nationwide search for the best underground hip-hop artists in the country.

Titled the Live Large Project 2, the contest has already begun.  Luda and company are seeking to find the best spitters through regional events and a YouTube contest.

Beginning today, aspiring hip-hop artists can head to here for a chance to show off their skills by uploading a video of themselves performing a Magnum-themed "16 bar" verse. The submission period runs from today until April 13, at which point fans across the country can go to the channel and vote for their favorite aspiring MCs.

Living Large is really the only way to live,” Luda said in a statement. “That's why I'm a part of this project for the second year.  I’m a huge supporter of the product, I live the life, and I love how Magnum is giving other people the chance to shine and represent the gold standard.”

This year, Magnum is also hosting rap battles in four major cites (Detroit, San Francisco, Miami and NYC) in pursuit of four stand-out emcees. The four regional winners plus the YouTube contest winner will make up the “Magnum Live Large League” and will receive $5,000 cash and the opportunity to appear on stage alongside Ludacris at one of the country’s biggest music events, Spring Fest in Miami on May 29.—Nicole LoPresti
