Oh shut the hell up. I bet you were the main ones sneaking and listening to rap when you were their ages. But guess who's actually doing something about it!!! Leave the girls alone and hop off their vaginas. They DO have a point. And if they WANT to be a part of hip hop they CAN, don't you ever in your life tell a child they can't do anything. Look at Soulja Boy. He raps about bammer hammer and dancing. WTF? You goin to hell for messing with these kids. I hate to wanna get spiritual all of a sudden but it's just in me. Don't get mad because they're doing the right thing. Nobody else wanna step to Wayne so I'm glad they did.. AND I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO POST THAT VIDEO ON MY FB!

real Spit.

Lil wayne lyrics are diffrent from those back in the day. 1. radio singles back in the day were "radio friendly" Nowadays, the radio let anything GO. 2. Did you guys recall his peformance on BET for Every girl in the world? Dude brought up lil girls on the stage. There has to be a disconnect between music and real life.

It kills me the way people use the excuse that parents should protect their children from adulterated material. As if a parent jumps out of the bushes whenever a child sees something vulgar or offensive. You can raise your child with good morals and be supportive an your child can still be corrupt from outside influences (Montana Fishburne).

These girls simply made a video to say that they find some of Wayne's lyrics offensive. Wayne has freedom of expression in his lyrics just as these girls have freedom of expression to protest them. I'm sure that these girls had some help from their parent to formulate this response. But the initial reaction to the lyrics could've been created by them and that's what actually matters. A little girl can be offended in being called a bitch or whatever just as much as a little black kid can be offended by a white person calling them nigger. How they respond is completely different to how they felt to the incident.

When I was younger I bought many parental advisory albums and no one in the store prevented me from buying them. I've been to parties and many public venues and people would play rap with adulterated material in front of children and no one would object. So like someone said earlier children can have proper parenting and can still be exposed to offensive material.

But what annoys me about this isn't the people attacking these girls to defend Wayne but thefact that no one has been able to construct a reasonable response for Wayne to use such language. This is the reason why rap today is still often criticized and recieves little respect from people. It isn't the fact that rappers depict violence, vulgar language, and sex without any explaination except "it happens in other forms of media"or "if you don't like it, don't listen to it". I'm not saying Wayne is wrong here or that he shouldn't use that language but if a rapper honestly wants to be considered an artist and consider rap as artistic music then Wayne and all rappers should own up to their lyrics and accept criticism. Wayne doesn't have to even respond to the girls but he does have to admit that his music can be offensive and young children are not completely isolated from hearing it.

These dumb bitches don’t realize that Wayne’s music isn’t meant for their age group. It’s aimed at guys and girls about 14 and up. And instead of calling out the way he raps and acts, can’t we just appreciate the lyrical mastery that Weezy displays in EVERY FREAKIN’ SONG? I mean come the fuck off it man! Besides, these girls are too young to understand what wayne talks about in his music anyway! And I’m telling you, These girls aren’t gonna make wayne switch his style up. I mean I don’t do what wayne raps about, but I listen to it and enjoy it. Wayne is a titan of the rap game. And some dumbass little girls aren’t gonna change that fact.

^ and you're still taking up for wayne. do you know these young women? you immediately went to discredit them. what if they did just hear a Wayne verse and decided to do this video. there are smart children out there, heard of honor rolls?

and what if their parents actually were behind them to do this? even if it is for promo, i would rather this than another 6'7' freestyle...if it was another grownup, they would be considered haters, if it was another rapper, they need a buzz.

and asking about the parents makes no sense, when people damn well know on a daily basis there are PLENTY of things kids are exposed to, even when the PARENTS are THERE. There are parents at work when their kids are messing around on the comment sections spewing racial stuff and cursing.

it don't matter which rapper they would have targeted, it's a SOCIETY issue, this is what the collective needs to comprehend.

We’ve all known individuals who’ve been so fervently devoted to a particular assumption that they were completely incapable of accepting any opinion fundamentally at odds with their impassioned belief.

Such folks tenaciously cling even to proven falsehoods because conceding that they’ve been living a lie is a psychological leap just too painful to make.

I’m convinced a similar phenomenon is occurring in a collective way, relative to the American people’s view of their nation’s unquestionably deteriorating status and the role of media.

Despite being awash in profound injustice and resulting inequity, causing worsening unemployment, hunger, homelessness, medical neglect, poor school performance, infrastructure decay, etc., we can’t bring ourselves to acknowledge that our capitalist way of life, made thoroughly predatory by unchecked greed, has irredeemably failed.

Our popular culture is absolutely depraved, giving free rise to rip-off schemers and shameless charlatans of all sorts, but we don’t associate the sleaze on our radios, television sets and our email in-boxes with a complete breakdown of social responsibility, not to mention common decency.

Although it would be relatively easy to connect the proliferating dots representing various evidence of ethical and material collapse in America, we don’t pick up our figurative markers and draw the requisite lines that would clearly reveal the big picture.

That keeps us focused on just those few, glaring shams and scandals that the mainstream media find sufficiently titillating to cover. We’re consequently led to think that they’re isolated, atypical instances, not the iceberg’s tip of wholesale dissolution.
