After two weeks playing second fiddle to Eminem, Nicki Minaj reclaimed her spot as the top selling rap artist on the Billboard Top 200 sales chart, released today (March 9).

Although boasting the highest sales of any rapper on the charts, the Young Money princess slipped three seats down to No. 12 this go-round. Fans purchased an additional 29,100 copies of Pink Friday in this sales cycle, according to the Nielsen SoundScan report, making her overall figures stand at 1,188,700.

One position down at No. 13 is Eminem. The Detroit lyricist's latest LP, Recovery earned 27,300 in stats this week, bringing his 37-week tally to 3,694,900.

Rounding out the Top 40 is Kanye West and Lil Wayne. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy slid to No. 24 after pushing 14,400 CDs out of the stores, while I Am Not A Human Being dropped nine positions to No. 37 with 12,300. Overall Yeezy moved about 1,061,900 units and Weezy scanned around 796,100 units.

Next week look for Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers and Raekwon’s Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang to make their way onto the Billboard Top 200.—Elan Mancini
