14 New-Millennium Artists We Would’ve Liked to See Biggie Collaborate With

Throughout his career, The Notorious B.I.G. collaborated with a bunch of influential artists like 2Pac, Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony just to name a few.

Big’s untimely death cheated rap fans who never got the chance to see the Notorious One’s career progress. The new millennium ushered in a ton of new rap talent that’ll unfortunately never get the chance to be blessed with a Biggie verse (posthumous collabs don’t count). So, on the 14th anniversary of Big’s death XXLMag.com takes a look at 14 artists from the last decade that we would have liked to see B.I.G. share the mic with. — Ralph Bristout and Kai Acevedo

Khaled, Kanye & Drake are the most likely to be no-gos. Khaled is just annoying and unless Pun was still alive and allowed dude to be part of TS, Biggie wouldn’t be likely to give him the time of day. Although there is the fact that his man already hooked up with him for a few joints, making that a maybe. Kanye? Eh. Dude’s style is way to far out to try to mesh together, but yet again so was MJs. Yet another maybe. Drake? Something in me just doesn’t see that happening though it would be nice. Sorry, Jimmy Brooks.

To all those complaining, half of yall…better yet all of ya’ll wouldn’t even know who B.I.G. would’ve collabo’d with. I mean if you look at his track record he collaborated with a lot of “left-field” artists: Micheal Jackson, DMC, Aaron Hall, Tracey Lee, Jay-Z (when he was a nobody), Too $hort, Lil Shawn, Da Brat, and the list goes on and on. At the time there was Big Daddy Kane, NaS, Wu-Tang, etc. and these dudes were killing the game at the moment. but, B.I.G. didn’t collab with either one of’em (except Method Man). What ya’ll gonna say because of beef? F*k outta here. Check ya facts and think outside the bandwagon you and iThugs and Mr. Me Toos. Props to this list, just wish Nelly made the list, dude was the golden child of the new millenium/last decade (2000-2010 for you dumbfcuks)
