Last night, the XXL Freshman class absolutely killed at New York City’s B.B. Blues Club for our second annual Freshman Live Concert. For those that didn’t get to hang backstage or kick it onstage with the talent, you might have missed some of the more memorable moments from the show. So in celebration of our first year having an extra cover star (11 for ’11 – get it?), we have compiled a list of 11 moments from the affair. Time to make way in the history books .

1. Mac Miller finally got to meet A Tribe Called Quest frontman Q-Tip and show off his “Beats Rhymes & Life” tattoo.

2. Rev Run declared Buckshot from Black Moon a legend.

3. Curren$y wasn't able to make it into the show to perform with Big Krit, because of tightened security at the door.

4. Big Sean, Vado, and Kendrick Lamar all also performed at last year’s Freshman Show at NYC’s Hightline Ballroom.

5. Def Jam exec and former G-Unit president Sha Money XL went absolutely bonkers  and was moshing onstage during Big K.R.I.T.'s set

6. A girl sneaked onstage in between Kendrick Lamar and Big Krit’s sets, stole a mic and tried to show off her rapping skills in front of the crowd. Unfortunately for her the mic was never turned on and she was escorted out by security.

7. Following her special appearance during YG’s set, Rosa Acosta was the target of plenty of kissy noises from the rapper backstage.

8. Lil Twist has plenty of friends in high places. The Lil Wayne protégé not only rolled in the venue with Birdman, he also brought along Diddy’s son, Justin Combs.

9. There was a fan in the front row, who was clearly much younger than the 18-year- old age limit. We pegged him to be in the 11-13 year old age bracket. Either way, that didn’t stop him from singing along to the Freshmans' every words.

10. Before leaving, we caught Rev Run humbly thanking his son Diggy backstage for letting him jump onstage with him to perform Run-D.M.C.'s classic, “King of Rock.” Awww.

11. Cyhi the Prynce was running around backstage with five copies of the April 2011 XXL Freshman issue, having all his classmates sign the cover of each issue. He told us today during our UStream show Spotlight, that if this rapping doesn’t pan out for him, he’s gonna sell ’em on Ebay. Heyyyyyy!
