The Hills star, Spencer Pratt, has been known to dabble in the rap world, but now he’s making his ties to hip-hop official by teaming up with Waka Flocka Flame for an entire project. XXLMag.com chopped it up with the reality show bad boy to find out how the collaboration came about.

“This summer when Waka hit so big with everyone talking ‘No Hands’ … I called [CEO of Warner Brothers Records, Todd Moscowitz] and said we need to do a Spencer Pratt/Waka song,” Pratt told XXL.

The plans to do one song extended to the possibility of an entire album

Rapper/producer Wooh Da Kid, Waka's brother and fellow member of So Icey is gearing up for the studio sessions with Spencer and Flame in Los Angeles in the next few weeks. “We’re fans of each other,” Wooh said. “I’m a lover of music and down to work with anyone who wants to put out great music.”

Spencer is still shocked to be hitting the vocal booth with Flocka. “I’m just waiting for Ashton Kutcher and Justin Bieber to come Punk me MTV style,” he said.

According to Wooh, the project will have a range of features from various genres of music including Eric Noland Grant from the classic soul group he O’Jays and Phil Verone from 1980s rock band Skid Row, among others.

In related news, Deb Antney,  Waka's mother and manager, recently told RadarOnline.com that she is now representing Hiedi Montag, Spencer Pratt’s wife. —Amber McKynzie
