Two men suspected of shooting Waka Flocka’s tour bus in Charlotte, North Carolina, are still on the run.

According to Charlotte's Channel 9 news, the alleged assailants led Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers on a high-speed chase last night, but were able to escape arrest. As of press time, no charges have been filed in the case.

As previously reported, Waka was at Car Stereo Warehouse in Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon (February 16), when a group drove in to the store's parking lot and unleashed at least five shots at his bus.

Flame’s security detail returned fire and, according to NBC news affiliate, WCNC, hit a man in the shoulder, who claims he was an innocent bystander. An alleged fan of the 1017 Brick Squad rep , the man, an aspiring rapper, claims he was hoping to get a record deal with Waka. He is recovering in Presbyterian Hospital.

Flocka was unharmed in the incident. “Waka is fine and so is his the team," his publicist Kali Bowyer told XXL.

A motive is still undetermined in the case and a spokesperson for CMPD have yet to return calls for comment.
