Cory Gunz Series Coming to MTV in April

MTV announced that Young Money signee Cory Gunz's TV show with Nick Cannon will finally come to the network this April.

The docu-series's premiere, dubbed Son of a Gun, has been in the works for a long time. Cannon has been filming the young rappers entire career.

"Cory's story is inspiring, one that boldly paints the many trials and tribulations he's had to endure in pursuit of his dreams, I'm grateful for the access that Cory and Peter allowed us to have in order to create a series that we feel will really resonate with MTV viewers," Cannon, who will be the executive producer of the show, said to MTV,

The docu-series will detail his journey from Casablanca Records, to Def Jam Records and then finally Young Money.

The six-part show will debut April 28th on MTV at 11 P.M. ET.—Michael Naclerio
