During our Spotlight UStream interview with Talib Kweli yesterday, the BK MC revealed that he has a new mixtape in the works that are sure to ruffle a few feathers.

The Black Star MC, who caused a lot of controversy earlier this year when he collaborated with Gucci Mane on the song “Poltergeist,” decided on putting out an entire mixtape with Southern artists.

The tape, titled Southern Smoke, Northern Lights, will be hosted by DJ Smallz and feature appearances by YelaWolf, Young Dro, Three 6 Mafia, Slim Thug and Roscoe Dash, among others, and will drop around Christmas time.

Earlier this week, Kwe dropped The Community tape, a compilation of music from him and his Blacksmith family as well as material from his online fanbase for free download. Fans can download the tape here.
