haha at the end of the day all u cats is wasting your time on here…. its all based off of personal taste and OPINION!
Truth is, ti vs tip was way diff than paper trail and no mercy was way diff than all of his albums. leading up to ti vs tip all his albums sounded the same… besides i’m serious which was kinda all over the board… anyways what i’m tryin to say is tip lacks sales this time around due to the sole fact that he didnt make shit for his core audience… other than that it was a good album. it sucks that he’s strugglin to go gold and some crazy ho on track to hit platinum status in three to four weeks…smh. hip hop has changed for real…

on another note… diddy copped a lot of his own albums and is givin them out for christmas… do some homework… nobody went out and got that… lol

Apollo Kids is way undershipped l cant seem to get my hard copy anywhere!!

Diddy – Good numbers for a non rapper!!

Niki – l’m impressed and more will be sold due to christmas etc, she will be plat pretty soon (not my bag, but good on her)

Ye – l must admit l thougth he would of sold more, but those numbers are still good in todays market!

Hearing that form you makes it a definite buy. I didnt like press play that much so I was skeptic. BTW did anyone else think that Nicki minaj’s album sucked. The only track that made a mark on me was moment 4 life.
And yes no mercy was pretty bad probably rushed it coz he had to go back to the black and white stripes.

Trap muzik, Urban Legend, & King were all made in a more street friendly era. Paper Trail? That album is commercial as hell!!! No Mercy has a dark low key vibe that his fans like me need right now. Its epic if you really believe in T.I.’s movement.

Other than the 1st two songs from No Mercy and ‘That’s All She Wrote’, the rest of the album is pretty mediocre. Hurt, What What You Say to Me, Touchdown, Act II & III, and you know What it Is from TI vs TIP are all better than the rest of No Mercy.

King, Paper Trail, T.I. vs T.I.P., Urban Legend, and Trap Muzik were studio albums too. But none of those were DIRECTLY aimed AT the radio, they were all natural. No Mercy is one of those forced formulaic albums that are a dime a dozen.

Yeah 100k ain’t bad in this environment…especially when they only predicted 60k.

I heard some of the record can’t really get into it though. Press Play was better imo. But Respect to Diddy for trying something different.

That Ghost record is crack. Can’t forget In the Park with Black Thought and the joint with Ortiz…

Curious to see how Sheek’s shit is although the cover is horrendous and hiphopdx trashed it in a review I read earlier. If it only sold 5k on Def Jam thats crazy. Dude would have been better off putting it out indy in that case.

Big drop off for Tip. Wonder how long it will take for Ye and Minaj to go plat.

Never under estimate Mr. Combs, with all that promotion he does with Interscope behind him I’m not surprised.
As far a Ghost and Sheek are concerned, “never knockin your hustle” but unless you guys just want fanfare, your names still out there or are just chasing those advances, when it’s time to renegotiate…don’t get the hell up out of there.
