DMX appeared in Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix earlier this morning (November 24) to address his arrest on probation violation charges from last week.

In court the troubled MC denied any wrongdoing, which included allegations that he used cocaine and OxyContin, according to the Associated Press. He was ordered to remain behind bars without bond as he awaits trial. Calls to his rep for comment have yet to be answered as of press time.

As previously reported, X was brought into custody last Thursday after he reportedly failed to submit to a drug test to his probation officer and drove on a suspended license. He is currently on probation for an assault conviction.

If convicted the Yonkers rapper could face up to eight months in jail.
